Well It has happened to me too now i guess. About 3 weeks ago I was about to play some vegas too when i get the ever so famous RROD, yeah i was f***ing pissed, i've done everything in my power to keep that from happening. Well i found out what it was, see well i removed my Hard Drive and turned it back on and it worked just fine so its either one of two things, hard drive is dead or the connectors are shorted out and cant read it. So i've been trying to send the box in but they seem to have trouble confirming my delivery address, i even sent to box to my house so my mom could send it in and they still called me, so i'll have to try again, this time i hope I get someone I can fully understand. Anywayz as far as gaming is concerned it was near my birthday and I got an elite so i'm not that worried about it at this point, I may just get a new HD for it and sell the baby, get some $$$$ out of it. But I love my elite now anyway faster, better quality, and sound and video through one cable. So i'm still gaming like always. Hehe, just not alot of multiplayer cause the internet sucks here, three more months and i get speed back, cant wait.

Well as you can tell this is good news, very good news. I finally got my own 2 n 1 gaming rotuer that does land line and my wireless. Its the dlink DGL 4500, fast stuff too it allows me to set more bandwidth for gaming when i need it and its been a lifesaver on halo 3, barely any dropouts and or laggy games. So yeah i'm back on the map for good lol. ANd i just came back from my thanksgiving break and brought my gaming pc with me, so i have the 360 and my pc now, so yeah i'll have plenty to do lol. Just thought i'd let you guys know the update, very good news. So yeah i'll be online as much as i can depending on the schoolwork i have, luckily i can get most of it done in school and lab time.

I dunno whats exactly going on but that wireless is unlocked again now and I can use it and i dunno for how long, i've been using linksys for a long time too but not really been a fan of it, my brother had bought a D-link gigabit gaming router and it was lightning fast, expecially with my pc having gigabit built in, anyways i'm looking into a wireless gaming router from dlink that has a system to increase bandwidth to gaming and lower everything else and can be set back when finished, its not cheap but i found it at a place for 70 dollars cheaper then the retail website so i'm gonna look into it, it was the 2.4 and 5 ghz dual band like my wireless adapter for my 360 has so it'll be a hell of alot better then what i am using now. keep you posted.

well you can prolly guess what happened, the dude running the router that i was using for wireless apparently got tired of it being slow since he wasnt the only one using the network so he locked it out, and now unless i can get the landline to work for it i'm stuck without live again, anyone knows where i can get a reliable cheap wireless router please let me know. thanks

If anyone readmy last postthen you know about the problems I have been having trying to get live to work at my college. Well finally the other night there was finally a wireless point I can use to play live with, its awesome, the only thing is its connection is spotty meaning i get alot of lag at times meaning alot of ppl use the thing, hopefully after christmas I can get my own router to fix this problem, at least i have live to an extent though. I ran a speed test on this net work too and it isn't that great so that may have alot to do with it.

i've just learned that this school I am attending wireless connection sucks, i mean it will work, just not for very long, then poof! disconnect, it really sucks but i'll live with it, if it'll work for more then 10 minutes at a shot. I would use the wired connection but I am still yet to test and see if it work cause you have to accept their terms and conditions before you can get online everytime, and i dunno if doing that, then hooking it up to my box would work, gonna have to try something soon cause I am falling way behind on my live playing.
