Summer
by Platinum_Bullet on Comments
Let me first state that it has been BEYOND crazy already.
The first few weeks of summer, I worked 60+ hours a week. I took off one of my jobs, now I'm working a nice 40-50 hours. So in my spare time I have been playing some games that I haven't been able to play before. Like the single player in Halo 2. I have played bits and pieces, but now I'm just running through the whole campaign. I really like it! It just seems like it's a bit easy.... Im playing on Heroic and I'm almost literally running through it. Maybe I've played too much Halo in general, but I like the game anyways. I am also playing a game called Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects. It's entertaining, but not like Ultimate Alliance. Im stuck on the first Venom level.... eRgggg
But anyways, I get on here when I have time, and I thought I'd post... In a couple months I will be leaving on a 2 year mission, and I don't know if I will remember Gamespot when I get home. I hope so.
Might be out for a little bit....

Hey guys, I got my Wisdom teeth pulled today. My stomach hurts, my brain hurts, everything hurts.
Darn teeth.
But anyways, I might be limited to computer time due to the illness, so sorry!
Halo III

Halo III is amazing. I played it this weekend, and it is a nice blend between 1 and 2. I can't wait to play more as the week goes on!

20.5 Days
by Platinum_Bullet on Comments
Well, unlike the latest Heroes episode, .07%, the number of days that I have left in high school is unfortunately still above one. That said, I have less then three full weeks left in school! Things are goin great in class, I am working part time after school, and the unions I am active in are pickin up speed. Hopefully I can start getting to bed earlier though! These darn unions are addictive... BTW, did I mention I played PD:0 for the first time today? It was interesting, not bad though!
Overwhelmed!

Whoa, this is unexpected. For the past couple of weeks, I have started to post like a madman on different forums, and the Star Wars unions more specifically. Today, in the middle of fifth hour, right now in fact, I read that I was now the Leader of the Star Wars Experience Union! What?
I don't even know what to do... I know that Unions bring people together, and I know that recruiting is a big thing, and keeping people entertained, etc... but I'm not sure if I have time for it all! My computer that I usually use is dead due to my Mobo and PSU being out... which should shortly be remedied... but still.
I guess for now I will get some advice from some of my more experienced GS friends and hope that I can be the best possible leader for the union. Wish me luck.
Wow, WoW

Well, to tell you the truth, even amidst my crazy schedule, I have found a little time for a game we gamers call "Cocaine". This game is the World of Warcraft. While it has wonderful graphics and interesting gameplay, I'm stilll not caught into it yet. In fact, I'm pretty sure I won't ever be caught (thankfully). While I have put in a bit of time, it is not nearly as much of many/most of the users on WoW. Many people I talk to in casual conversation talk of their level 70 characters, and their multiple identities, and on and on... All of my friends are addicted to this game. Whenever we get together to LAN, they all separately get on their accounts and play by themselves, ranking up, or joining others on raids. I have a few level 70 friends, then a few mid-level ones (30-50), and my brother is a level 19. This is my brothers 4th or 5th character, with this highest being a level 30 Warrior. My character is a level 15 Tauren Warrior. At times, I find myself wanting to quest, or get more items, or something, it just doesn't seem time efficient to do anything!
I really am not at all impressed with the gameplay thus far. I run around for hours killing beasts and taking various pieces of their bodies. Then I take them back and get a couple silver. I actually find that I enjoyed my two level 20 Guild Wars characters more then any of my WoW ones. So yay GW, especially since the announcement of an expansion, a level cap increase, and a sequel!
I am excited for them, needless to say. Also, I find that even though I spend so much time on Battlefield 2142, I still like it. A lot. I enjoy it tons more than I ever have WoW, and the upgrades definately help. Can't wait for Huxley, which is an MMOFPS! Thousands in a map, supposedly. Hopefully the creators have fat pipes to keep the servers lag free.
It's been a long time.

Well... Here's a post. I haven't really had time to get on here at all, and I really shouldn't be on right now... I need to go work on some storyboarding. But I am on here, and I plan to get to level 11 sooner or later so I can start posting videos. I don't really know all the small intricacies of this website, and hopefully I will grow to become a much larger and better member over time. I just don't have time at the moment to do it justice. So after a couple weeks are over, I will hopefully grow in my Unions and overall, add to my profile on here. I don't just play squad-based shooters, although I did when I first made this. I also play Starcraft, Warcraft III, Guild Wars, Battle for Middle Earth, Call of Duty, etc. Rome Total War is also in there... Haha
Sometimes I just don't have time for everything.

WOW. I just watched the 2142 tourney on GameSpot, and it was definately awesome. There was some severe ownage and I definately want to see more. That game is friggin sweet, and I'm not sure I will ever get enough. As for me right now, I definately have a night of Battlefield-palooza to look forward to.

Battlefield 2

My friends and I recently (friday) took a little time and played some Special Forces. In a general game, if you play alone, you can bank on somewhere between 25-50 points, depending on your skill and the opposing teams use of tanks and helicopters. When I played in the squad, I ended with 105 points and a Gold Medal. The difference is not just in the fact that you can spawn on your squad leader or have someone watching your back. It's also mental.
I find when I'm in a squad, I am apt to help them out more. I run to revive members, I let out supply packs, and well, we have an overall strategy. In SF, there is also the added bonus of grappling hooks, ziplines, smokescreens, etc that can help out the team as a whole. I think when we had 5 members in the squad, we captured a base in roughly 5 seconds. With one person, it would take 20-30 seconds.
Well, I guess what I'm saying is: go buy this game. Buy it and squad up, and enjoy the ride.
