Yeah, I don't really think it's cool to pierce, tattoo, or circumcise beings who can't give consent. Although a lot of them are now saying they don't mind it because they don't remember it but really they are only saying that because it's already been done and that's what they have to live with. The only reason there are so many people in America who are circumcised is because there never was a choice, their parents had it done to their kids and now it's accepted as if there's nothing wrong with it. Imagine a society where children were never forced into circumcision, would they still be as likely to get one later on their lives? Probably not.[QUOTE="Assassin1349"][QUOTE="guynamedbilly"]I agree completely. If you punch a baby in the face, he won't remember the pain either. I don't think too many people would like that though. Similarly, why is circumcision ok when tattooing isn't?Nkemjo
Wrong actually you can reverse circumcision quite easily. I love the way you say ''that's what they have to live with'' you wouldn't know either way as you didn't have it done I'm guessing. It's never caused me any duress.
its never the same as it was though, its not automatically restored. its a fraction of what it could have been if the circumcision hadnt occured[QUOTE="PlexiglassAura"][QUOTE="Nkemjo"]Well I can think of a reason why women would prefer circumcised men. Apparently they last longer. If that's hogwash or not I'm not sure. Also to everyone saying it's a big deal to get it done when you are older my brother had it performed at the age of 16 and he himself said it was basically pain free.WiiRocks66'they last longer' oh please, that is a myth, a terrible one at that I did a lot of research when I was considering getting it done. They last longer because of all the lost nerve endings. Look it up. You lose 20,000-30,000 highly sensitive nerve endings from it. Ah, my mistake. Still not worth the operation
