I'm planning on buying the ps3 after having 2 dead xbox 360, but now with my 360 experience I feel afraid with more console deads.

So, should I buy the warranty for the ps3? where do I buy it?(Best Buy I guess )

Imagine that Sony says: Bring your death xbox 360(red lights) and we give you the 80gb version of the Ps3 in 500 dollars.
