Swine Flu is definitely blown out of proportion by the media. But if say, the government release a panic cure, an essential guide to surviving an apocalypse of zombies, as in L4D, or some hybrid. Would that not be the all in one solution?

I was thinking, with all this panic associated with every contagious disease stronger than the common cold, to appease the paranoid idiots etc, should L4D copies be circulated in order to provide training manuals for survival?

I mean, its got all the details in there... maybe its even a prophecy?

Got to be a Team Fortress 2 moment;

I'm a Pyro and we have 30 seconds left to hold out on the last point in cp_Steel (for anyone who knows), our team sucked and we'd been stopping the Red team for 20 minutes already, suddently they mount a huge offensive. 8 guys come storming around the corner heading for the point, taking out everyone and everything including our turrets. Me and my mate were the only ones left; he was a medic who just had Uber ready to go. We're on chat and he says

"this has to be good", i reply "the best". (you could almost hear "Back in Black" from AC/DC in the background)

we run around the corner and he ubers me, just as we get to the guys my flamethrower starts sparking (indicating im doing critical damage), i kill all 8 guys before i notice anything... one of the best feelings in the world

The best RTS's out there right now are probably not the best place to start for beginners. C&C3 is targeted at more casual players so it may be a good start. But if you're interested in the RTS genre I would recommend Warcraft 3. It is a great place to start. Huge online community, lots of mods, and probably the best single player campaign in an RTS ever.xenophone

agreed, warcraft 3 is THE place to start, but warcraft 2 would be better : )
