@millionsedge: Don't! That will still last you for at least a few years.

@subsided94: Outdated is over-complicating it a bit. Yes, there will always be something EVEN BETTER just around the corner, whenever you decide to buy or upgrade a PC. That is the nature of PC gaming, and its major advantage over consoles: it makes incremental leaps forward, whereas a console is stuck with what it's got for the next 7 years.

But my experience has always been that a good rig can last you 7 to 8 years. You will be playing almost every game you throw at a newly built PC on high settings for at least 5 years, and then probably medium settings for the next 2 to 3 years. It doesn't matter if you have THE BEST equipment out there in the present moment.

@mesome713: Not intending any disrespect by having this conversation, but from a pure conversational standpoint, it can be explained easily enough to have a new Black Panther. It is a role passed down. There were many Black Panthers before him, so some other family member can inherit the suit and role of king.

Everything about, even conceptually, sounded mediocre. Nevermind the fact that it takes place in a now defunct cinematic universe.

That seemed like verbal gymnastics to me. Batman is not playable. He is dead at the start of the game.

Okay, but he will be alive by the end of the game. He will come back to life thanks to a Lazarus Pit or something.

@just1mohr: This isn't their primary direct. Looks like they are getting all of their 3rd party and indie announcements out of the way first in their own mini-directs.

We will still get their sweet, juicy 1st party announcements at some point. I'm guessing sometime in September now.

@hardwenzen: To each their own. What a dismal and joyless way to approach things though. Hopefully, with age, you will grow to appreciate that truly mature and confident people can watch/play anything and have a good time with it, and not be embarrassed.

Or maybe you will stay on that high horse, and only appreciate the "highest forms of art", and see anything remotely silly or lighthearted as beneath you, with only the darkest of games being worthy of your attention.
