I love Bioware. I just wish they could make a series of games that doesn't turn slowly into something more mainstream with each entry. I was struck by how different ME3 feels from the other two games. I know the overall tone is supposed to be darker, and in truth I loved the game more than any of the other games, but I hate how disjointed it feels from the rest of the series. Beyond the tone it seems like they altered many of the characters for the sake of a new direction in the game. Again, I loved this game, more than the first two, but I feel that they should really start and end a series with a little more consistency of direction.
