That

The reason you hear so many rrod stories is because only the people who get it make threads and cry about it. If everyone who hasn't had the rrod made a thread, this board would be full of them.cool_baller

That is true, its like the news, you only hear about the bad things that happen. Anytime a plane crashes we hear about it, cause it doesnt happen very often. But still, I wanna get the latest software so that it is less likely that it will happen to me. But I repeat my question, Is the halo 3 edition the best way to go atm, speakin about least likely to crash.

ok, im contemplating buying 1 as well. It seems like there are a lot of people that have problems, but there are a lot of people who havent. I understand you should take care of it and all, but as you know nothing is perfect, you can buy a brand new car and drive it off the lot; two days later it dies. Now, I understand they have a prob overheating but it sounds like the halo edition is fixing that to some extent. It still isnt perfect, but it seems to be the best one to buy, correct? Also, what is the cause of the RRoD? Overheating? But Halo 3 version is the best buy atm rite?
