Yes I know that E3 JUST started, and only MS has presented, but now that they have ended their presentation, I can safely say that the aftermath of announcements will not ruin the GameSpot boards like last year. The only "win" was Metal Gear Solid:Rising going multiplat, which most PS3 owners don't care too much about given that this arc seems to be just a branch of the overall story.
G4 talent (yeah I said talent) sounded shocked saying that the MGS announcement was bigger than it seems, but I feel that they are wrong, the entire franchise is not going to the 360, just the series moving forward, therefore, the epic and dramatic moments found in MGS1, MGS3, and MGS4, are still missing for 360 owners.
Overall, I am relieved that nothing really that groundbreaking was announced that will stir controversy here on the GameSpot forums, where I like to relax and be a part of, I still shudder at least years Final Fantasy announcment and it's reception, lol.
I'll post another blog in the coming days to give my overall feelings of the event, as Sony and Nintendo still have some big news up their sleeves.
Honestly, stage demo footage of GOWIII and Gran Turismo 5 will trump most of what has been presented already, excluding Modern Warfare 2, which looks Redonkulous!!
Later guys, and thanks for reading.
