No offense toward you, but you're boyfriend really isn't smart at all if he's skipping his mandatory classes and quizes to be with you. Again, not to suggest that you're not worth being with......... Anyways.
I don't know the type of guy you're boyfriend is, but I have two ideas. He's either A) The fool in love or B) The Fool with no self-worth.
If he's A) then the separation is a good short term fix, but he really need to be told that you're not his top priority. And he can't throw away so many years of work and study just to spend an extra few hours with you.
Now is He's B)(Which form your account I wouldn't say he is, but hey, you gotta be through) Then the separation idea could be a fatal mistake. I've know a few fools with no self-worth, and doing something like that to them would ruin them for life, for lack of a better term. The idea could send him into crisis mode and he would completely choke on all his exams. The best thing for him, would be for you to force him to study until the exams are over, be with him while he studies and what-not. Then after exams...... the balls in your court then.
Well that's my advice....... in all my glorious wisdom. I hope it doesn't ruin your life if you follow it.
