While I have to relook your first statement, your second one is false, Crash was the original record breaker. It made it in the top 50 I believe or higher.[QUOTE="Pro-Gear-Spec"][QUOTE="Rick_Henderson"]
Ratchet and Clank was immensely successful in Japan.
It was the first western game to be bundled with a console in Japan and it's also the first western game to break into their top 100.

Actually Donkey Kong Country was successful before Crash was but not the point.
Like I said before I am talking mostly U.S.A. here. Also, 2nd party Ips don;t count as they are owned by the japanese company. While I have to relook your first statement, your second one is false, Crash was the original record breaker. Yet you say Jak, which was made for the sole purpose of showing off the PS2 with tacked on gameplay that was done before mostly (Yet. to be fair, they did it better and added interesting twists.) Also, Crash was one of the best looking series on the Ps1, heck Crash 3 was almost at the peak with abrely any PS1 game touching it. Also, the Ps1 and N64era were about graphics, and the ps era was about graphics as soon as the Xbox came out. But you are entitled to believe what you want even if it's wrong.Crash was Awesome (: I wish they make a proper one. Actually Jak and Daxter the original one was Awesome too. Boy I miss the old Gaming days when it was about playing not graphics.

That's a very vague and narrow opinion you got there.Japanese people have "weird" tastes, so I would think not.
