So which is it? Annoyed, angry, or fit of rage? Do I have anger problems or not? Is there any other part of your position ("most humans are idiots") in which you've been sarcastic?

Palantas

I've said several times i was being sarcastic, a word you obviously don't know the meaning of.

I was talking about in the context of clothing, because it can effect your ability to carry out objectives:

I can't stand the feeling of it on my wrist, drives me insane.

FrostyPhantasm

I'm not physically impaired by video games. I will not change my beliefs regardless of what you have said, however i will stop posting here.

From a comment you have managed to pull me into a discussion in which you rambled on about Art for about 4 pages and like you said

"You're still here, responding as well" and to be honest i'm losing the will to live, so Goodbye.

I've said twice that i was being sarcastic yet you refuse to believe this for reasons unknown to me.

I didn't say everything impractical is useless i only remember referring to clothes/accessories because i just can't figure out why you'd take items of clothing out with you when you clearly don't need them for example a watch if your intention is not to tell the time, surely thats just extra weight you're carrying around?

Is that not like me carrying around an instrument, not because i'm going to play it but just because i like the way it looks when i'm wearing it?

It may look good but its not practical if i'm walking long distances.

Well that blog post is from the 10th July, however todays date is the 24th July so its consistent with my claim of rarely playing games, i never said i didn't play them. I don't agree that "playing" games is an art form, in that blog post i criticised the gameplay mechanics nothing else.

What you've done is forced your opinion of what art is on to me and assumed that you're correct however i don't agree with everything you say,
i don't believe that everybody buys clothes for entertainment purposes like i've stated previously but you clearly won't accept a conflict of opinion. Just because "you" buy for that purpose, doesn't mean the entire world does.

You haven't provided any evidence for your claims either, links would be appropriate so i can read up on this information not just take everything you say in faith.

I've already stated why i disliked fashion on page 3 i believe "I dislike fashion, i don't like the idea of following a trend just because everybody else is." but i think you failed to read it.

What you say about condemning one art form and not others, i condemned fashion because i believe the idea that people wearing a piece of clothing, not necessarily because they like it but because society does is conformity and i don't agree with this.
If you're wearing it because it provides you with entertainment or "art" then thats great as i explained a few threads ago but wearing specific clothes to be accepted by your peers is ridiculous, and i'm aware of people who have done this hence "my experiences".
I don't think video games follows this idea thus eliminating it from the debate.

The reason i said people who wear watches for other reasons that to tell the time are tools is because i thought people wore them for that very reason, i was unaware that people wear them as forms of Art as explained in my previous post.

I actually have a question for you, following your train of thought that you're unable to condemn one form of entertaiment and like others.

People all over the world condemn different type of entertainment, for example pornography and gambling although they're a source of entertainment/pleasure for those engaging in the activity.

You say entertainment is a form of Art so in the eyes of those involved it is Art, based on what you're saying.

Why is it okay for people to condemn those but still engage in other forms of entertainment?

[QUOTE="Palantas"]

Enjoy your bare wrist. I'm sure it means a lot to you. Just know that you're in the small minority of people who don't bother to wear a watch. Deal.

See, that doesn't really take any thought, does it?

EDIT:

I went back and read this stuff carefully. Your "pretty much" bit is sufficiently vague that you could have meant just about anything, giving you considerable latitude to make stuff up. So yes, I did misquote you. I apologize.

Ken_Masterz

 Dear god. Give it a rest. I don't give a rats ass if you wear a watch or not. Nor should you care that I don't. If you want to believe that watches are just as relavent now as they have been in the past that's your business. Honestly I think the 90% statistic is pretty generous. If anything I bet even fewer than 10% of people wear them. If it means that much to you to disbelieve your own eyes, go nuts. Have fun. That being said this is the last post I'm going to make on watches because quite frankly the only reason I'm still posting is because I've never seen someone get so worked up about a piece of jewlery. Especially a male.

I couldn't agree more.

I just use a cool looking watch as a tool. I usually never take it off, even when I'm asleep.

The irony (reference to my earlier post)

No offence intended.

When i said you were taking things too literal i meant when i called you angry/in a fit of rage, obviously sarcasm is unknown to you as you need evidence for everything people type no matter how simple the claim may be, which i noticed when you replied to Ken_Masterz.

My experiences extend beyond GameSpot as i'm sure many other peoples do and i'm not going to list everything nor do i have to, i've just had bad experiences such as having to move class to avoid such people and getting into fights because they won't let it go.

I could also say that games were created to be played and websites were created to be visited regardless of how much entertainment they provide, thats what they were created for, as clothes are created to keep you warm.

Other than the practical uses a watch has, how are you entertained by it? i'm just curious.
