Did you try logging out of psn before you started ? i had that same problem and logging out helped.
Thanks that seems to have done the trick. It hasn't freezed yet. Heres hoping it doesn't happen again.
same thing happened to me just now. after rebooting a few times it got into the game, but five minutes later it froze. everybody contact rockstar and get them on this.patrick5152003
The same exact thing happened to me now. I got it to start working and it just froze on me while driving a few minutes of playing. There is definitely a bug that needs to be fixed.

I have GTA4 for the PS3 and I just finished "Dust Off" When I now start up GTA4 the game never stops loading. Its stuck on the Loading... Dust Off. Anyone else have this issue? Any ways to fix it besides starting from scratch?
