I've been saying for a while that I would stop buying special editions ever since the HALO3 piece of junk that sat in my living room for to long. I saw the pictures for GOW3 pandoras box and it looked a little small, maybe made of some cheap metal. I pictured hiding my stash in there... what a disappointment. The OP says the box is not big enough... it's BIG! It's so cheap and flimsy at this point I'm saying my game came in a garbage pail. What a load of junk. I can't believe they would ship a so called "Collectors Edition" to adults that looks and feels like a little kids toy. Lets not forget the game is rated for adults. Why would any adult ever want this piece of junk displayed with pride in there house for people to see? The book.... so what? You flip through it once and never look at it again. What a waste! Everything else that was advertised that would come in the box is download content. Whoop tee doo! I've been suckered into Collectors Editions before but this one takes the cake. No longer will I fall for such B.S.

Thanks guys for the helpful info. I'm going to give it a try and if it doesn't work I'll just consider it a loss! I'll report back whether it worked or not.

APOLLOCJD... thats all I'm trying to do is take the name from one and give it to the other. I e-mailed xbox support and worded my question in pretty much the same way. There response was... "We are sorry for the inconvenience and as I understand, you want to change your gamertag. Unfortunately once the gamertag is already created, you can't use it again. You can only use the gamertag once." Which is what I hear alot...once it's been used it can't be used again. Yet other people say paying a total of 1600pts can accomplish the change. Maybe there's confussion of what a gamertag is or a "name" is or if both are the same thing to some people. But to say it as simple as possible... I want to use the name I have one account on a different account and allegedly it will cost me 1600pts to do so. Thanks for taking the time to post.

I've heard conflicting reports and can't seem to get a straight answer on the official site. I have a gold account and a silver account. I want to change my gold gamertag to the gamertag used by my silver account. I heard that I would be able to pay 800pts to change the silver accounts name to free it up then pay another 800pts on the gold account and change it to the name I just free'd up. Is this possible at all? I wan't to make aboslutely sure of the facts before I go speanding 800pts to change the silver account... it would be messed up if it didn't work and just payed 800pts to lose the silver name I had.
