Before I get to the topic, let me say that there is a LAN gaming center that, start of 2005, I would go to almost every day, for several reasons: socialising with likeminded people; playing the popular games like Battlefield 1942, Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, Unreal Tournament 2004...
This computer of mine, I'm fairly sure, can't run Battlefield, Unreal, Half-Life 2... it just seems to me that my compy is made of hand-me-down parts or something. I mean, why would any serious gamer have a 10 gig drive?
Yeah.
My compy sucks.
I don't even get pocket money for doing ANY chores, voluntary or otherwise.
Although...one thing that I could've earned money with but failed miserably at was listing movies for the family business. On my first day, I ****ing listed THREE videos in TWO hours, and then got distracted by the Internet. Again.
I'll follow up in that in a future post. But now to the topic at hand. Microsoft and their new OS, Vista. According to the OS specs, it'll take up my hard drive and another half. I'm fairly sure even my Mum's laptop has a bigger hard drive than mine. So while, some day, Mum's, Dad's, and even my siblings' shared computer will be playing Runescape and managing the business on their BRAND SPANKING NEW Vista computer, while I'll be furiously keying away on what will be the semi-crappy Windows XP.
They could AT LEAST let me start earning pocket money SOMEHOW I'm SICK of this crappy computer.

Trackmania: United (And the concept of freeloaders)
by PsYchE-OsIs on Comments
Okay, so. You have two great games. Trackmanias Original and Sunrise. You also have a free version to promote the ESWC. Of course, all some people care about is OMG ITS A FREE GAME WOO
Okay. so, Trackmania: United was announced about...a month, two months ago. And it looks to be more than just a 3-in-1 pack.
But recently on the Trackmania forums, I saw a poll by one of these Nations players, asking players' opinions on whether the Nations part of United should be free.
We all know that Tmu (which includes stadium/ Nations) is gonna cause money.
But why put Nations thats a free game at Tmu thats not a free game. Will confuse many players.......
What i liked about Stadium is that it was download able....
Now we know Tmu is not free and We will not have new block
Plz explain your decision
Say free :)
This is what I'm talking about. This kind of person will only stick with the industry for so long (aka. as long as its games are free  ).
Now I, I am not a freeloader. I own all three Trackmania games and am anxiously awaiting United. But yes, I have a couple of free games on my computer. But before you accuse me of being a freeloader just yet, I want to say that I have always wanted to support the creator, but do not know how to explain this to the parents.
Ah well. Some day.
