Every day at least one poster - athiest or christain or whatever - thinks "I've got it! This will finally prove that what I believe is true!". And then they post thier idea and it is debated in a 500 post thread which doesn't go anywhere. It's not as much about needing to tell your opinion, it's that they are trying to prove the other side wrong. Personally I try to avoid these threads when I can.alphamale1989The atheists always prove the chrisitans wrong. The christians just don't want to admit it because they'd have to break the mold they've conformed to, and start all over again, if they accept the truth. That's quite an energy draining endeavor, and most folks don't have the hardiness to push through with it. So, they stay with what they've grown accustomed to, even if it's ridiculous.
