...so let me get this straight boys.
In North America (the biggest gaming market) Sony "shipped" 1 million PS3's in 6 weeks with 300k of those units still on the store shelves as we speak because the games and the system itself did not live up to the hype. LINK
In Japan (Sony's home turf), the almighty PS3 sold 550k units, even though Sony has claimed today they "shipped" 1 million units again because the games and the system itself hasn't lined up to the hype. LINK
Knowing this and the fact that almost every gaming and mainstream press outlet has pretty much crowned PS3 one of the biggest duds of 2006, you guys still insist the europe will still flock to it?
That means you must think Europeans don't watch television, do go on the internet, don't read press reports don't see comparative video, and all around enjoy Sony themselves treating them as second-class consumers.
As you can see with all the PS3's collecting their 3rd layer of dust right now on retail shelves, there was absolutely no reason why Sony couldn't do a launch in at least the UK.
So please, tell me why the PS3 won't suffer the same outcome that it did in both NA and Japan?

I was thinking of getting one (from the UK) But after all the lies and crap sony spew out as well as the delays, i went and got a 360 instead, glad i did. Alot of my mates are turning to nintendo and microsofts offerings over the ps3. I dont see why sony thought that they should crap on their loyal fans??? Its stupid
