I grew up with no religion in the house. I've never been to church and have never had the need. I will never "grow out" of Atheism because of how unnatural it would be for me. I'm not rebelling against anyone, I don't believe in any God to the extent where I don't even think about it on a daily basis. I never have as far back as I can remember.

I don't speak for everyone though, just myself.

This reminded me of a funny story. It was years ago and involved one of the neighbors in the neighborhood my dad grew up in. He had just got home from shopping when suddenly his door was knocked down and a SWAT team burst in yelling for him to get down. Following them was his lawyer who kept telling him to not say a word and comply. Don't resist the arrest.

After he was hauled down to the station it turned out someone had just robbed a bank and thier getaway car was similiar to his. He got off free and I think there was money involved for the trouble.

The point is no, I would not resist if I knew I didn't do anything.
