I've decided to create a different account called -The-G-Man-. Why? Well, I wanted to try something new. Send friend requests to my other account, if you please! I'm currently trying to figure out who I am going to give leadership of the union to. FZP didn't want to and I currently asking Jandurin. If he doesn't want to, ithilgore is up next, then the-very-best, then gingerdivid. Then we'll proceed to the recruits if the officers aren't man enough to take on leadership (I kid the officers!)

I Hate Spiders.
by Ptolemaueus on Comments
I dunno why. Always have. Maybe it's their...buggish appearance or maybe it's the way they move. Everytime I play a game with spiders in it, I'm filled with dread if they look realistic, somewhat.
Take Dungeon Siege for instance. You have to go through a tower with an ENDLESS supply of spiders. The gigantic one at the end wasn't so creepy since it didn't look too real, though. I also hated that part in Warcraft III (I think it was Warcraft III....it may have been the expansion or both) where there were these big spiders.
Ocarina of Time freaked me out when I was younger, but since I've gotten older the Skulltullas don't scare me. They don't look to real, which is why I can put up with the Skulltullas in Twilight Princess.
Resident Evil 4....well, a spider-like parasite has led me to postpone playing it for a while and start up playing Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones again. I'm inside the castle part in RE4 and I blow up a monk's head. A parasite comes out, unlike one I've ever seen. It's wiggling. I take out my gun and run, then shoot it from a distance. The monk falls down but the parasite detaches from its head and comes after me. I ran out of the room and took out my rifle and zoomed in on the open doorway. When the parasite came through I blasted it. Then it curled up and died. Gross, I know. I don't know what this parasite will do, or the other one that comes out of the monks' heads. Guess I'll take a look at the guide. I DO know what the first, less-creepy one does. All it does it swing a sharp point at you, which isn't too freaky.
Again, I LOATHE spiders.
My Friend's Xbox
by Ptolemaueus on Comments
A friend of mine by the name of James came over, bringing his old Xbox and a couple of games. We played Unreal Championship, Unreal II, Halo 2, and GTA: Double Pack.
Halo 2 was business as usual: pretty good multiplayer. Having not experienced this game on Live, I can't help thinking this game would be way more fun with more than 2 players.
Unreal II sucked, big time. It was annoying as heck and not very much fun to play. Unreal Championship was pretty good, I thought. I prefer Halo 2 a bit more, though.
I haven't played Grand Theft Auto before. And I must say, this game is fun as heck. We played GTAIII the longest of all the games we played. Man, I'm gonna have to get James over more so we can keep playing GTAIII.
Cool Mii Website!

Having recently discovered an awesome website called Mii Plaza, my Mii count has gone from 10 to 25. That's fifteen Miis! Mii Plaza shows pictures of Miis created by users, and I must say it's quite good. Some of the Miis I've cranked out with the help of this site are Miyamoto, Mario, Dr. Phil, Rocky Balboa, a Rabbid, and many more! Check it out and see what you think. Awesome, no?
Gears of War Impressions
by Ptolemaueus on Comments
Since I don't own a 360, I haven't had the chance to play Gears of War until just a few days ago. I went over to a friend's, powered up the 360, and started a game of Gears.
It was obvious that my friend didn't know how to play the game correctly, even though he owned it. He rushed headlong into each battle, without taking cover and chainsawing as many people as possible. Needless to say, he was killed numerous times. On the other hand, I played the game as it was meant to be played: taking cover, and pumping the Locust full of lead.
We played co-op through the first Act. I was thorougly impressed. The weapons were all well done and the gameplay flowed well. The graphics were nothing short of stunning.
After finishing Act One, we started up multiplayer. Although I would have liked to see some more modes, it was extremely fun, too. From what I've played, Gears deserves all 9.6 if its points. I recommend it to any 360 owner, and if I get a 360 it will probably be one of the first games I get.
A New Beginning.

Well, I'm probably going to redo my whole profile. I'm getting rid of all my reviews, going to write new ones, update my Now Playing, get rid of the Gameboy and DS games from My Collection, and throw out all my ratings.
Why, you may ask? Because I can. I'm probably going to try to be more active from now on. I'll keep you posted (literally...this IS a blog, after all.)
