AAC files aren't used. The accepted formats are: .M4A , .3GP, and .MP4. If you convert a file to AAC in iTunes it comes out to M4A if you open it in Finder (or Explorer if you're using Windows.)pttp_co_nr
Thank you, just realized this is excatly what I did. Problem solved :)
Just converted some music to aac files but the DSi will not recognize them from my sd card. Anyone else having this issue or know a answer?
This thread is over-crowded. Please let people post in the forum or make a new one.

I second this. They are closing threads left and right that pertain to the DSi.

Traded in my DSlite for the new DSi this morning. The camera I see simply as a gimick and the quality of pictures is low. The online browser had problems loading nintendos own website let alone anything else that is memory intensive you can just forget, they won't load. The new online web store is pretty cool and works, although there aren't many choices at this point in time to pick from. The bigger screen looks great and is a huge upgrade initself.
I have to admit I am disappointed in the browsers lack of ability to use my SD card for memory, a huge huge let down. If your looking to buy this to cruize the internet, look elsewhere as there are way better options via other devices.

Wow, thanks for the info, while using the browser, can yougo on Myspace, YouTube, Gamespot, or other certainwebsites?
I have to mention that you do have the ability to turn off all pictures for the web browswer, makes pages that wouldn't load or hang for long periods just load the text. Which for this lil handheld is just fine. It would not load gamespots website for me until i turned off the picture loading in the options. I have not tried the other sites that you mentioned but imagine they should work fine with the lower settings. This would not have been an issue had they programed it to utilize your own memory card for storage but that just isn't the case. I do give the new device a thumbs up overall and am having fun with it.
