RPG Stuff.

I finished Final Fantasy XII last week. Great game, satisfying ending.

What's amazing is that there's still so much to do. I put about 80 hours in, and even after completing the storyline there are tons of hunts, sidequests and optional espers I haven't even touched yet.

I'm taking a break from FFXII for a while, going back to Final Fantasy X actually. It's a travesty, but as long as I've had the game, I haven't actually finished it yet. So that's probably what I'll tackle next. Either that or I'll try to finish up Dragon Quest VIII. Plus I still need to pick up Xenosaga Episode 3 so I can get some closure on that series.

Looks like the old PS2 will be lasting me for quite a while.

Belt, Meet Notch

Finally got around to finishing Killzone today. It's nice to have beat it, but the ending really wasn't as satisfactory as I was expecting. Still, the entire play experience was fun. I never understood all the crap people shoveled on to Killzone.

It seems like Killzone really peaks, gameplay wise, right around the middle of the game. Not that I was forcing myself to play through to the ending, but it seems like once you get to the Onward And Upwards level (I think that's what it's called) the developers seem to have run out of tricks.

Anyway, it's nice to have completed it. Now I can go back and play the levels I really enjoyed without thinking "I should be finishing this up instead."
