Its a personal thing but I firmly believe drugs and games go hand in hand.

The medium itself is a medium of escapism. I love escapism and have been desperately trying to work out a way to just play games my entire life lol...

I like about 3 bongs before playing... it finishes my dissconection with this insanely mundane existence and allows me to become (if only for a moment) the WW2 soldier, Space Marine, or Evil Dark Elf Assassin I always dreamed of being..

So flame away square heads... no one is forcing you to do anything... live n let live..

Or join the Liberals and also Australians For a Constitutional Monarchy... become a preist...

Youll fit right in :P

Atari 2600...growing up in the silicon valley my father worked for AMD and through a work connection he got me all the games for free. Only problem was that they were just the chip interface (not entire cartridge) so I had to be extra careful with storage and inserting them into the 2600.

My guess is that if they are to be serious about targeting players that are using drugs for a "real" competitive advantage then they would have to include most cognitive enhancement drugs like Deprenyl, Cylert, Nootropil, Hydergine, Vinpocetine, Ondansetron, Lucidril, and vasopressin to name a few.

Bioware is the finest RPG dev on the market, for my money. Baldur's Gate 2, Knights of the Old Republic, Jade Empire, Mass Effect? Yes please.3KindgomsRandy
Agreed...my favorite Bioware game is Planescape:Torment.

Don't know about Vista, but I do know that both SFC2:Empires at War & SFC2:Orion Pirates work well on later versions of windows such as XP. Another trick for playing games made for older versions is to select property to install & run game for appropriate older version. For example on Windows XP you can choose to run a game associated with any of the following: 95, 98, 2000, and NT 4.0.

This is done by locating the exe file in windows explorer. Right click to select "Properties" and select the "Compatibility tab. If memory serves me correctly, you can also set the game up to run on different display settings. I have not yet tried this on Vista; however the fact that other games like Diablo2 & FFXI require a patch to run make this solution likely to not have the testicular fortitude to fix the problem. My uneducated guess is that SFC2 may work in single player mode but if it does it will likely have lag issues. Strange but i've noticed that even simpler games made for older windows versions may cause lag spikes on a Vista system, such as solitaire & other card games. I hope this has at least been of some help to you. Good luck.

Planescape: Torment...One of the earlier games using Bioware engine. It's great storyline makes this game a timeless classic, anybody who has played it will agree.
