I have owned numerous consoles througout the years but by about the 2nd year of the first XBOX I felt a strong sense of boredom every time i glanced and the black monstrosity. I needed something new, the answer: PC Gaming. An entirely new world filled with possibilities. Although I had a weak PC i still enjoyed Half Life, Starcraft and Call of Duty over anything on the XBOX.

In the middle of last year I finished my Gaming PC, it would of cost about $2500 all up with the Quad core, 8800gt and Monitor ECT. Gaming bliss ensued, RTS, RPG and FPS all at my fingertips, after playing an Xbox 360 and PS3 at my friends place I chuckled at the terrible framerate in oblivion and the laughable textures in Halo 3.

As an independednt High school student money is tight but my Girlfriend and I purchased a 360, i was appaled by the graphics on my SDTV so i went out and got a $2500 1080p on credit. While the 360 looks ok it is still nothing compared to what my PC can churn out.

There is however a certain merrit in coming home from school or work, cuddling up on my old lounge with a can of woodstock and starting up some Forza 2.

In this game i found myself so relaxed, not really thinking but certainly enjoying myself. Being a keen Amatuer boxer I also got Fight Night R3, another experience that cant be produced using the PC.

While my GF and I use our PC as the main gaming system (Trust me FPS, RPG and Graphics are FAR FAR FAR better on PC) I still enjoy kicking back under the warm glow of my 42" with some Dead rising (Again not an expereince that can be had on PC) or with some mates with a game of FIFA. I am also EXTREMELY excited about GTA4.

Ive included some Pics of my flat so you can truly see what a person living in gaming heaven looks like. IMO You need to have a PC and another console, ideally a ps3 because those games are more diverse/more different to PC.

Whats so bad about that? a nice 1080p is 2500 in aus, things are more expensive here due to a higher standard of living. Only problem is i still go to school and work at a super market part time, i cant afford anything too expensive.

In a few months I am going to buy a $8,000 PC but still I don't think I am going to like it over my 360.

PS3_3DO

Are you being sarcastic? If not how about u dont spend that much on a PC, just think, do u really need the 2 high quality projectors and the Terabyte of Ram that would come with an 8000 dollar pc?

yes, compare the visual experience between your pc on ur SDTV and hookup ur 360 to ur monitor (which costs about $7 to get and $8 to ship) and then tell me why u'd want to be a pc gamer. ;)

you went in with a predetermined outcome and left with ur predertimined outcome. shocking u still say pc gaming is better.

and btw, u wonder why ur games are laggy when ur in AUSTRALIA!?! blame ur fellow aussies for not being a big enough population to constantly not have overseas games. :|

Big_T-Mac

Erm, ur telling me to hook up my PC to a SDTV and then tell u what i think? y in hell would i want to do that.

My Samsung 226bw accepts the x360 in HD, i said it looked much better in HD but still not as good as PC.

Yes i did go in with a predetermined outcome, thats y i wrote this, of course my opinions on the matter were already set.

Pc games are not laggy at all in Australia, u want me to be leniant on the Xbox live because i dont live in America? get real.
