I use cheats for Lego starwars 2 where it unlocks all the characters but thats so i can customize my character because if you unlock a charcter you can mix his body parts with others so when in free play mode you can use your custom character also in spyro 2 gateway to glimmer (yes we still have that old ps1 game it works on ps2) i personally use glitches to get places like in hurricos i can go flying upwards really fast if i do a certain glitch and in breeze harbor and sunny beach i can swim in mid air because of a glitch i can do and finally in Hl2 after i played it and Hl2 ep2 and ep1 i went through with cheats for fun.*Raises hand* Yea ... I'll always play through a game without cheats to get the feeling how it was originally designed to be played, but I love having the option (Which I'll use) to cheat in later play throughs. I often find the results to be amusing and adds more to the game. Being able to manipulate a situation, by allowing yourself to get a gun at a part where you shouldn't have a gun, or to go on rampages (GTA anyone??). I can't help but notice that in recent games that I play, cheats are no longer there in games, or as elaborate like long ago. I Also notice the people that are completely against Cheats and look at a cheaters like Plebs to be mowed down by their lance (of Moral superiority) as they charge atop their Stallion.
But what are your opinions on cheating and cheats. Do you use them and do you also think there are less cheats in general nowadays??
