to my understanding the Nyko cooling station for the 360 gave the RROD to the system, however i read that a newer version of these nixes that issue.

1. is that true?

2. if it does work, is the cooling station still worth it?

My knowledge of the Xbox 360 fails me again.......Today my xbox gave me the error message E 74 and only one section of the ring lit up as red(as well as i noticed scorch marks on the back of my xbox but that seems to not have any connection....i hope)

To my understanding this is a hardware failure though it differs from the Red Ring of Death, I have already contacted Microsoft through XboxLive.com and i am to recieve a box to have them fix my problem

However, since this is not a RROD problem, does this not count for a warrenty?.....and if not, does this mean i hav to dish out some big bucks for Microsoft crappy hardware?

dnt get me wrong, i luv my 360 and i support MS but this is total BS! they shuld just giv everyone an Elite for there laziness in keeping Xbox Live intact during freakin Christmas and for crappy hardware!
