well, its official.  our WoW account is no longer a trial membership.  he set it up today.  :lol:  now i can play whenever i want without worrying about how much time is left on the trial.  now, if i could just get him away from my computer so i could play.  :twisted:  but i love him, so hes forgiven.

yeah, cant really bug nate anymore.  i played WoW for a good 6 hours today.  started a new character on a new realm so i could meet up with a friend and he could help me out.  had to stop for a while because my neck and shoulders were hurting.  cant sit at a desk that long without moving, its just not comfortable.  in all honesty, i would probably still be playing if my sister hadnt called and invited me over for a while.  but nate beat me home and is now playing.  tomorrow should be fun.  hes off work at 10am.  that means the computer is open to either one of us all day.  the only plans i know of, my sister is gonna bring over her mower so we can cut our lawn, and shes bringing over her boys while she does errands.  i already told nate he got to mow the yard, and i would watch the boys.  all i have to do is show them the train table and then i can play on my computer.  :P

ive been playing a little bit of World of Warcraft lately.  thanks to gamespot and the free trial.  i like it so far.  a lot of my friends and coworkers play so theyve been talking it up a lot and telling me i need to play.  plus, i played the beta.  my at the time boyfriend was invited to join in on it and i made a character.  i liked it then, and i like it now.  nates been playing more than i have though.  he says hes not addicted to it, but i know he is.  when you play a game for like 4 hours straight to "get to the next level" and you go through 2 or three levels, you need to admit youre addicted.  but thats ok.  i love him anyway.  now, if he would just let me play on my own computer.  :P

nate and i have been playing a lot of mario kart double dash.  and of course, he keeps beating me!  i thought i would be able to beat him at a game finally, but no.  he beats me everytime.  even on the tracks that he says he sucks at.  then i did a bunch of the time trials.  i thought i did good on some of them.  well, he tried some out last night and beat my times on every track!  i wish that the gamecube didnt stop when you unplug the controllers.  i tried that once, but it didnt work.  well, i think i need to practice some more.  maybe i will be able to beat him some time.

nate drug out his saturn yesterday and was playing some games he just picked up.  its fun watching him play the older games.  the graphics are horrible, but what do you expect?  he spent a while playing hexen.  he thought that i would like it and want to play.  the problem is that i dont like first person shooter games.  he knows that, but was hoping i would ignore that aspect.  later this afternoon were gonna pick up where we left off in God of War 2.  its been a while since we played so im looking forward to that.  ill have to update on that later.

well, finally got a gamecube.  we got a good deal on our display unit at work.  we dont have a lot of games for it yet, but i like it.  so far we have super smash bros, mario kart, and mortal kombat deadly alliance.  plus nate has everything or  nothing.  we also have demos for paper mario, pikmin, and star fox assault.  it was hard to find mario kart.  we had to search the local mcvans and eb games.  but we got it!  im having fun.  nate keeps beating me at ssb.  i was beating him in mk until he started figuring out the moves.  hopefully i can beat him at mario kart.  i kicked his @$$ when we played the 64 version.  next on my list of games to get is luigis mansion.

i really dont like power outages.  some crazy person driving a way too big humvee crashed into a transformer yesterday knocking out power for nearly three hours.  that means no games, no computer, no tv, no movies, and no heat for the lizards.  i have no problem with venturing outside every now and then, so i spent most of my afternoon outside with lizard in tow.  they each had a turn in the sun, so they were happy.  but i was upset because i was play diablo 2 on my laptop when power went out.  of course, not thinking, i didnt worry about it.  it was plugged in and charging, why worry about stopping play?  once the battery died, then i thought about it,  i had spent over an hour uncovering areas and the game logged out.  or so i thought.  thankfully, when power came back and the charger kicked back on, i realized that the game was still running and i lost nothing.  so it was all okay.

this has nothing to do with gaming, but i dont care.  right now i have to deal with 5 pets in my house, plus my boyfriend, sometimes his son, and sometimes his son's brother.  its a busy house.  i have a thirteen year old cat and three iguanas that are all over 3 feet long.  he just got a 4 month old kitten.  my pets all seem to hate the kitten.  my bf's son is a year old now and his brother is almost three.  can you imagine what its like when they're all here.  now add in the friends that are all here.  its no wonder i never seem to have the time to play video games when i want to.  :(
