I don't think the power is in the systems, it's in who makes the games. Most games are started for the 360 and ported to the Playstation 3. The XBOX 360's single-core processor is easier to work with than the PS3's 8-core (and I say that because I'm a programmer, and I know that single-core is easier than multi-core). I think PS3-exclusive titles are the best-looking games today, mainly because the teams working on the games don't have to worry about making sure it looks best on all consoles - only one. Metal Gear Solid 4 will be the real clincher in the competition of which system can produce a better-looking exclusive.

If the thubsticks could pick up acceleration and have better precision, the 360 controller would still be broken for playing FPS games because you can't turn right and reload at the same time.

I just happened to upgrade my computer about two weeks before the game was released. How convenient :P AMD 64 x2 3800+ @ 2.00 GHz per core, 2GB DDR2 RAM, GeForce 8600 GT w/256mb running in SLI, WXP w/SP2. It's as smooth as butter at 1440x900. It's best with SLI - I can't see myself playing without it. I can't play console FPS games - I'm a fumbling mess when it comes to the controls :P
