In a fight between Master Chief, Gordon Freeman, and Solid Snake, who would win? Granted, Snake isn't in a fps, but people are always fighting about which one is best.

Master Chief (Weapon of Choice: Sniper Rifle)

Gordon Freeman (Weapon of Choice: Gravity Gun)

Solid Snake (Weapon of choice: AK-47)

FIGHT!

If I remember correctly, when they're down, you stand over them without a weapon and press either square or circle.

Come on, in MGS, if  you don't know what to do, just mess around until you find out.

Mine: The supposed sequel to Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness - despite the crappy story and gameplay, I want to know what happened - it didn't just cut off and they all got together and had a cup of tea...

Instead of getting a Gaming PC, get a Multimedia PC with Gaming Enhancements. You're probably going to end up needing that computer in the future, so make it worth your while for things like music, videos, and other stuff, especially with the way technology is going.

Oh, and if you get like an Alienware or XPS, you're pretty much buying a name. If you want it cheaper and better support, get it from a local business that builds, or build it yourself. That way they can make sure you get exactly what you want.

The list sucks completely.

If you're going by sales and reviews, the best games for PC are Myst, The Sims, and Half-Life & Half-Life 2.

Oh, and THERE WILL NOT BE A DIABLO 3. IT WILL NOT HAPPEN. GITOVRIT.

Half Life 2.

Even the graphics today are astounding. I just bought it a month ago and I am still impressed by the graphics, even though they're three years old. The storyline is amazing and the whole game does a great job of immersing you in the experience. For Far Cry, I haven't played enough to know, but the storyline doesn't seem as compelling, and even though the graphics are great, you pretty much need a new computer to play it.

Well, if it's exclusively PS2, then (in no particular order):

1. Excalibur from Tomb Raider Legend
2. Dagger of Time from Prince of Persia: Sands of Time
3. Keyblade from Kingdom Hearts
4. Sword from Shadow of the Colossus
5. Celestial Brush from Okami
