I'm scared yet anxious at the same time. I cant wait to play Jalalbad and see if crashing has been fixed...EA FTW

When BF2 1st released it wasnt that bad, you'd have the occasional idiot TKing for vehicles and what not and the M95 was not widely used, so TKing for vehicles was far less common than it is today. The game ran all high 2x AA on my system @ 70FPS no problem and barely less on 64 man servers. But with all these patches and what not the games really screwed up and the code is shot as well as server stability. I now play all medium 2x AA @ 40-60fps average which isnt bad but i'm dissapointed in EA for there terrible work with the patches.

Players in most servers are either 12 year olds with no common sense or just jerks wanting to ruin it for everyone. If I manage to get a jet before say 2-3 other people, typcially 2-3 TK's on my part will follow, due to the fact that they stand in front to get run over. Then when I ask them why there being so immature, they tell me its fun. But after 9 months of it, fun has gone out the window. My account is now riddled with TK's due to idiots acting like monkeys.

EA originally publicized BF2 as a squad based arcade style 1st person shooter, that would have a fun and mature community like BF1942 was. But sadly this couldnt be far from the truth.

I just ordered one of these badboys off newegg.com for a mere $28.99. There a steal considering there better than some of the $100 joysticks. It comes with 12 programmable buttons, a throttle and a bunch of other neat features. It should be here later on today, so i'll have a full review of it later on.

Well it was only a month ago that I was getting ready for another all-nighter Battlefield 2 marathon with some clan mates when as I was removing the disc 1 from the BF2 case, I pulled to hard on one side of the CD and gave it a nice 2 inch crack. Then I being the genious I am, un-installed out of frustration, not thinking of the no-CD patch that had been out for quite some time. I ended up looseing everything I had built for myself in BF2. Includeing my spot in one of the best BF2 clans (Team Illicit). They apparently thought I was lieing, due to the fact that I had previously been discussing retireing from BF2 clan play for quite some time.

But like the title says I finally sent it back to EA for a replacement copy of the game. It cost a mere $13.00 fee.

Ok its nothing brilliant, but I got a job at Ralphs super market. Its a major grocery store chain here in Los Angeles. Since I am 17 and i'm underage, I can only work specific hours. But now i'll be able to support my own gameing needs, instead of turning to my mom for $ everytime I want to buy a new video card or new games. I cant wait to start makeing $!

After 8 months of playing it & compileing literally hundreds of hours in it, its finally over. Just 2 days ago as i was takeing it out of its case to play it, I bent one side up slightly to get the game from its holding spot in the case. I aparrently while doing this, bent 1 side to far and made a 2 inch crack in it.

I had such good times with it. From makeing it to the CAl-O playoffs 2 seasons in a row to compileing well over 150,000 global points. God I already miss soloing in the helo!

I'm in Team illicit, clan for Battlefield 2. We hve one of the best 5v5 teams and some of the best infantry in the game 2nd only to special K and a few others. Now for some reason CAl has both the main iLL team and the iLL^2 team playing each other next week.

This should be interesting. As both teams know each sides strats and what tactics we use. This should make for a very itneresting and definately challenging match.

Hard if not impossible to find a server without people going at each other necks within 2 minutes of joining. The game is honestly not longer enjoyable. I am only playing because I love to fly jets in Bf2, but besides that the game has gone to hell.

 Well happy easter..theres been god movies on all day. I watched "The Ten Commandments" which was pretty cool as well as a few other movies about god. We had a few aunts and uncles over for dinner...so all in all its been a nice day.

Its amazing how much smoother games are, no more loading pauses when the gfx card swaps textures with the HDD or any pauses period for that matter.

However for me 1 defrag didnt do it. For about 4 or 5 nights straight, I would before going to bed defrag my HDD.

Bf2 runs maxed out no problems with my 1GB pc3200 and my x800gto unlocked with no pauses or lag at all.
