Is anyone else having an issue with inviting friends to a multiplayer game? My friend and I keep getting an error message when we try to join eachothers games after being invited. The error message states that we do not having the same dlc. I have the gamestop signature edition, not sure which my friend has. This should not be an issue though. Ubisoft seems to have dropped the ball on their launch because according to the Ghost Recon forums I'm not the only one with this problem.

Anyone have a solution or more info?

Over the past 24+ hours I have been having problems with my connection to Xbox Live. I have tried nearly everything except call my ISP to see if they might be the issue. I don't want to call ISP because their support is annoying at times, so I have come to you. I prefer to view calling ym ISP as a last resort. First let me tell you the symptoms of the problem.

1. If I am just starting the console up I can log into to Xbox Live. But this lasts for only a minute at most. I will see the channels pop up and can even browse some things before opening say Last.FM or Netflix or trying to match make MW2 online then I will be kicked off.

2. After that I will not be able to log in to Xbox Live at all. Every attempt takes a long time and goes no where till I am Disconnected.

3. I will then do what is asked of me and check my network connection to Xbox Live. When at the test screen very quickly my Xbox will recognize my network then connection to the internet but will very slowly recognize Xbox Live and say Live is up and running.

4. I usually give it more effort to log into Live, numerous attempts, but get nothing.

I have tried everything from restoring factory network settings, power cycling in numerous different ways, changing cables and direct link to modem. Nothing works. I still get live up for a minute or less then I am disconnected.

My questions are: does anyone have any more ideas? Has anyone had a similar problem? Do you think my ISP is somehow blocking Xbox Live?

Thank you ahead of time.

So if you buy a 60GB HDD you have to use a memory card to transfer all of the data?
Thats ridiculous...

Almighty-mints

Just your saves. Everything else can just be re downloaded from live at no extra cost. It is a little lame but I here cables are on Ebay for cheap.

I went from 20 to 60 and while I do think the deal for the 60gb is a good one I found out recently that 120 is what more serious gamers would need. But it depends on your play style. I currently have Fallout 3, Fable 2, CoDWaW, Forza 2 and UFC all on my hdd because I sometimes go back and forth from most of them all week. If you don't plan on doing this 60 will be just fine, if you might be more like me than 120 is highly recommended. Plus some of these expansions are getting to be really big files I'm looking at you Lost and Damned. 60 does not come with a transfer cable though, I used a memory card.

Dude there are A LOT of good 360 games around $30. Forza 2 is 20, OblivionGotY ED is 30, Bioshock is 20 (Haven't played it yet but heard nothing but good things) and the Condemned games have a big following and I think they are both 20. There are many others.

The Godfather had good achievements and they would not force you to play the game unnaturally for them. Fallout 3 is great for achievements in my opinion and the game gives you a quality experience over many hours of game play.
