OK, so their most successful formula to date in COD4 Modern Warfare won so many fans that they're going to scrap it and go back to WW2 for the billionth time? I hate to sound like a broken record, but WW2 has been done to death. One of the reasons why I loved COD4 was because it wasn't more of the same. I don't really care if it's in the Pacific rather than the European Front, it's still more of the same WW2 setting that really has just been done so many times. WW1 doesn't count as making something fresh either. I just wish they would stay with the modern setting but whatever.

Hey, I don't have my n64 anymore but thinking back on it there are still a lot of games that I would have loved to play. This might be touchy subject and I'm not completely sure that this is illegal, but I wanted to using a emulator to play the games. Any advice on what I could use.

Like I said, I'm not too sure if using an emulator is illegal and I'm really sorry about posting this if it is, and if it is feel free to lock this topic, but I just wanted to see if I could get any help if this was a viable option to play old n64 games.

Yeah, I liked Halo 2's multiplayer a lot more. Foundry is a nice touch in Halo 3, but seeing as how you really only have 2 or 3 friends online in your friend list at a time, the maps you make are pretty pointless. An option to join random foundry games would've been much much better. Also, the thing I noticed is the only weapons you usually ever use are the assault rifle (which takes an entire clip and at least 3-4 seconds of straight shooting to kill somone), and the BR (it's decent, but headshots are the only way you'll ever kill someone). The Gravity Hammer is fun, but the Sword and the Rocket Launcher have both been severely messed up. They both attack so slowly that one mistake screws you up. I also hate the sword fights where you swing at another sword guy and you both attack at the same time and keep doing that 5 more times until one of you dies or someone else comes in and kills you or steals your kill.

The maps though... They're alright but nothing that great. There are only a few good maps and I've already gotten pretty sick of them. I used to be a huge fan of Halo 2, but after playing for awhile with Halo 3, I just switched to playing Call of Duty 4

EDIT: Also, how could I forget but the thing that annoys me the most. Definetely the snipers. Basically, they shoot so slowly that you really only get one shot before your target notices that he's being shot and runs away preventing you from killing him. And the thing is that it HAS to be a headshot or you won't kill him. Halo 2 snipers was so much better.

OK, so I've never really played any of the Final Fantasy games and I'm thinking of playing Final Fantasy X. I'll probably end up playing it anyway, but I've heard mixed opinions about this game. What do you think are the positives/negatives of the game?

So, I'm taking a look at both of these games and they seem somewhat similar. For those who have played either one, what the are main differences between the two, and which series do you think is more fun to play?

well, honestly anything is better than the stuff at my local hollywood video/blockbuster. they have very few games and each cost $9 per game for only a week.

The only thing good about them is that I can get the game immediately (though of course if they actually have it). I started gamefly on monday, the games just shipped today so I probably won't get them until friday or later. that's already 4 out of my 30 days gone but whatever. I'm just trying it out.

o ok. I guess I'll end up trying it at least. Does gamefly only have suppliers on the west coast because I live in NH so I wonder whether it would take a long time. Also, I wanted to try out some older PS2/GC/Xbox games so do you think that would likely to be unavailable most of the time?

damn, really? I was hoping for some place to have good game selection. blockbuster (other nearby vg stores) are pretty bad with the whole $9 per game.

Is Gamefly any good? I wanted to try it out but I wanted to make sure it was at least a decent video game service.

Hey, I'm interested in trying out the Ratchet and Clank series. I have a PS2, but not a PS3 so I was wondering which game would be the best to get for the PS2. Sure, the first one in the series seems like a good choice but I wasn't sure if the later sequels were better (graphics, more weapons, etc.). I was thinking about Ratchet Deadlocked seeing as how, besides Size Matters, it's a newer one. I also heard that Size Matters wasn't that great but I could be wrong. Any thoughts as to which game to get?
