On Thursday February 8, 2007 the craziest thing happened.  One of our cats gave birth to five wonderful, adorable kittens, three of whom almost didn't make it.  Currently, as she has been doing for the past 3 days, is nursing her kittens in the safety of a box we had erected for her.  Every single one of the kittens is dark colored, and one looks like a cat that we had before that also gave birth to kittens, roughly 8 years ago.
