I can see why. Dropping this alongside the PS4 in the same window would kill Vita TV sales. We'll probably see it sometime in 2014.

To be fair, the game's been out for five years. Anyone who's wanted a copy already has it.

Lost me there. Even without a hacked off third-party peripheral maker, even if it's free-to-play, there's just no way the pay-to-unlock fighters will work with only one starting character. I'd rather pay full retail and have everything at the start.

Then again, you'll need a decent rig to stream those games from. Kinda the same way PS3 games stream to Vita. Should pass until they actually make it its own system.

@JayQproductions It's a handheld PC with Steam. I don't think you can ask for cheaper than that, especially with that huge library.
