After a brief obsession with Oblivion and then a break with nothing new coming out for a bit, gaming was at kind of a lull for me.
Last night though that changed. Played Lost Planet for the first time in a bit. Ive put 4 hours into that game and Im 1 level away from beating it....that is pathetic. Played Saints Row too which was a lot of fun, Crackdown was awesome to.
Didnt try Fear or Just Cause though, not sure why. For a bit I enjoyed Lost Planet much more than Gears, but its twice as short:( What is it with these short ass games anyway? Original Super mario was longer than some of these
It just feels good to actually WANT to play games again. Regardless of whether they are new or not.
On another note though I'm quite pissy over the fact that the 360 is the glitchiest system I have ever played in my entire life:evil: I mean I really enjoyed playing it last night, and getting back into some of my other games but, Lost planet froze twice, Saints Row froze once after a few hours, hell I even Dl'd the shrek Demo for me and my girlfriend to try (we enjoy games like that together, go figure:P) and I had to re DL it twice due to file corruption...WTF?
When is the glitchiness gonna stop? I dont think...I KNOW that it will crash again, its juat a matter of when. They just "gutted" the "Elite" to see the inner workings and the article I read made reference of how MS basically slathered the GPU and CPU with apoxy....and then made remarks about how if that was MS way of making sure the connections stay and dont melt...thats sad. Apparently that is the trouble with the 360 then? The connections from the motherboard to the CPU and GPU degrading due to excessive heat? What a cheap piece of crap
This worries me even more because I want an Elite...even though Im royaly pissed about it. Ive played my PS3 on stints of 24 hours straight, and did the folding at home thing for like 2 days straight once with out a freeze, glitch, hiccup, or any sort of over heating.
No matter what anyone says, games or no games right now, the PS3 is so much better built than the 360, and Im having way more fun with the PS3 launch games then I ever did with the 360's launch games. Resistance alone was worth my money at launch.
Anyway still had a good time with the 360, just getting very tired of glitchiness.
