I didn't find them hard. Even if you aren't quick to recognize the button that you're supposed to press, the symbol on the screen shows all four face buttons with the one(s) you're supposed to press highlighted. Often when I knew a QTE was coming, I'd put my thumb between all four buttons and just press in the direction of the one that was highlighted on screen.

It's a lot, but too much to play is always better than not enough.

The way I see it, the MGS series places a lot of emphasis on story. So, if a story came in four books, would you only read the last one? While you might like it anyway, you'd like it a lot more if you had a look at the others first.

I would like to see new weapons, more melee animations, and not a minute of development time spent on multiplayer. The last game didn't need MP in my opinion, and neither will the sequel.

When I think about it, yes - it worries me a lot as most online gaming features have not interested me in the slightest. I'm hoping that there will still be developers (like Naughty Dog) making games that have much stronger emphasis on the single-player experience instead of dividing resources in order to tack multiplayer on just to avoid criticism from the minions and reviewers who don't want to play anything else, even though multiplayer doesn't necessarily make a game better. I'm also holding out for the day that there are separate reviews for single-player and multiplayer portions of games. For example, Call of Duty 4 got high scores in reviews even though reviewers said the single-player campaign was short and unfulfilling. That was enough for me to skip it.

[QUOTE="samuraiguns"]

when since is 1 1/2 million copies poor sales?

(bad source, but it's the best i could do)

Since there were lofty expectations that it would be a killer app and a system seller. It's like how companies forecast a certain profit over a period of time - if they make money but don't reach the amount of the forecast, the result is considered a loss. Unfortunately in this case, it means no sequel.

I bought mine at launch because I knew the PS3 would have the most exclusives that I wanted to play by far. That hasn't changed. Things like Blu-ray and WiFi were gravy.
