I'm thinking about the graphics on WH and I cannot see that they are bad.... try popping in a PS2 game (any game pretty much) and try to compare graphics.... I know it may be tough since there is no other versions of WH, since PS1, to compare to but I think the graphics have evolved pretty well......
I'm going to assume, that when you say "twice as good", you're comparing 360's and ps3's controllers... As far as the 360 controller goes, I wouldn't say it's twice as good as a PS3 controller. Both controllers are pretty much great in their own way. Haven't had a chance to play with a DS3 controller though.... hopefully soon.
Back in '99, my x-wife and I bought it for my younger brother... never heard of it until he asked for it for his Christmas present. When he opened it up and started playing, I was just watching.... I picked it up the next day, and the rest is history.
