I have noticed an increasing amount of interest in my profile (not that it's all that much) and I have decided to post a little blurb about myself. I am a close to 30-year-old-stay-at-home-mom ( almost 30 :cry: ) I have three children and I just recently celebrated my 9th wedding anniversary to my wonderful husband. I am a faithful church goer and I am in our church womens organization's presidency as the activities coordinator. My days are chalk full of taking kids to school/pre-school, doing household chores, managing household finances, and helping any women in the organization who are in need of help or counsel. So, now that I have COMPLETELY bored you to tears......how does this relate to gaming?

When I am finished with my day and the kids are in bed there is nothing I like more to do than to turn on a video game! I love RPGs, platformers, and stratagy games. I made my kids wait until I was finished before they could play Super Paper Mario :oops: . I'm not a huge fan of 1st person shooters, arcade games (you know, like the stuff on xbox live you can download),or any sort of auto or flight simulator gaming.

When I feel the need to be creative I turn on my Sims 2. Not to be sexist or anything, but one of the things I love about the Sims2 communtiy is the overwhelming number of women who play and create for the game. The boards I stay active on are a majority of women with a suprising number in the 40+ range. When playing the sims I mostly concentrate on lot and building design.

I currently am playing "Overlord" and loving it! I am waiting in breathless anticipation for "Fable 2" to come out. My interest has been peaked by "The Witcher" and I will be following it until until it is released.

Flaming is perfectly fine if you feel the need (the whole housewife+religiousthing is like painting a target for some people......more often women than men...go figure, huh) - just do so in a gentlemanly/ lady-like manner.
