I didn't think that the primary parameter of difference is the time duration required to play these games.
Nowadays you can save your progress in any game.Whether it's a profile saving your mission status, or in-game saving.
Aladdin, Lion King, for example, had to befinished in one time, from the first level to the end. But when skilled enough you could finish those within an hour or two.

I guess most of you people heard about DOSBox?
