The DSi has always seemed to me to be a more casual gaming console. Although the technology screams potential, it's a console thats clearly aiming itself at the casual audience. As much as the Wii and more so than the previous DS models.

GTA is one of my favourites in the series and one of the best PS1 games. It's much more fun than San Andreas and IV in my opinion. The graphics are absolutely fine. Obviously not technically impressive, but if you can't tell whats happening on the screen then i'm just left confused. It's not one of the more visually complex games out there.

[QUOTE="Raiko101"]The Playstation/Nintendo 64/Dreamcast era for me. There was far more originality and diverse games around because 3D gaming was so new. Things started becoming repetitive rather than perfected during the PS2/Xbox/GameCube era and now things are just stale.savebattery
Dreamcast was part of the Gamecube/PS2/Xbox generation. Saturn was SEGA's 32 bit console.

The Saturn was definately part of the era, although not really a highlight. The Dreamcast may have been far more powerful than the others, but it's lifespan was longer before the PS2's release than it was after. That and it was practically dead before the Xbox and GameCube launched. That's why I consider it part of the PS1/N64 era, even if it was a little late.

I don't get how people come to the conclusion that Resident Evil 5 would suffer on the Wii in any form, graphicaly or through gameplay. There are so few moments during the game when the screen is littered with zombies, which would be my first thought. That and the best of these moments is towards the beginning of the game when you are trapped in the house. A scenario mighty similar to that in Resident Evil 4 in which you are defending a 2 floor wooden house surrounded by zombies. Proof enough to me that the Wii is capable of replicating these vary scenarios again. Then you have the Mercenaries mode, which in Resident Evil 5 is no more chaotic than that of Resident Evil 4. Nor does it contain a notable increase in zombies. Gaphically, Resident Evil 4 is a beautiful looking game by any standards and so replicating areas of a similar quality wouldn't be a problem either.

The only other issue that comes to mind is the split-screen gameplay, which would probably have to be excluded, unless playing online. Not that it makes the game that much more enjoyable anyway.

This is why some developers hold back on announcing titles, even when people ask questions. It kind of kills the hype a bit.

The very first gameplay shot in the trailer reminded me of Kula World for a moment. Anyways, I have to admit, Kororinpa looks the better game. That and Mercury Meltdown Revolution is a must own game for any puzzle fans!

In my opinion, the original Playstation is the coolest looking games console ever. That and it had the biggest variety of games going.

You know, you don't have to ever yell into the mic. Even in Phantom Hourglass. Simply blow into it and that does the job. I got the Grapple arm down to 200 rupees or something like that.

This Wii motion plus does make it sound like you have to have a strong interest in the types of games you play. I'm pretty casual when it comes to sports games. Especially with golf games. I mean i've played a fair few of the Tiger woods games in the past, but it's almost as if the term 'accessibility' has been forgotten with Wii motion plus. I don't really want a 100% accurate representation of golf, I want something that's easy to pick up and doesn't demand all of your time to master. I hope that's something new games don't forget.
