That's absurd. Maybe you need to find a game she likes and get her "hooked" on the 360 as well. If she is one of the uppity types who looks down on gaming - well then it sounds like you do in fact need to find a new girlfriend as she doesn't accept you for who you are.

She's ok with gaming as long as I keep it to max of 30 min a day. I'm like: ''that's the time I need to sign in to xbox live'' lol....

But just for the record, my lady is the most important thing in my life. Apart the xbox and trying to get me to read books, she's actually perfect. So i'm very thankfull.

I have to say I have the best girlfriend, she will be like...Will you go play COD4 it is fun to watch. Plus she says it helps HER relax while I am playing it. Plus it gets her in a....um...good mood.....so when you see that guy that is just standing there with the light bulb above his head ruining his kill/death ratio...that is me....hi nice to meet you.

I have to say, I had one of the BEST girlfriends you could ask for. She actually ended up getting into gaming after we were together for about a year. She's like a hardcore gamer now. We broke up about 2 years ago... but she bought herself a 360 and even went to the midnight release of Halo 3 with me. Surprisingly enough, she's actually pretty good. On Halo 3, she is ranked a 39 or 40 in TS and Lone Wolves... Damn I miss her. I doubt I'll ever find a girl that cool again...Xxfantazmx13xX

What was the actual point of this thread? Was it to tell us that you have problems that you would rather play your x box than hanging out with your girl friend?

I hate people like this. What was the point of you posting this? Sorry, no one thought you were cool for doing so. He has a valid point and he's in a situation that many of us are already in. I have a girlfriend of 5 years nearly and even with that big of a commitment she still get's annoyed when I want to just relax and game (especially when I get a new game). My usual time to game is at night when she's sleeping so I'm not blowing her off. Maybe you should go out and get a girlfriend so you'll be able to make a related and educated post.

I thought I had found a way to keep her content and happy. So 3 times a week i'm going with her to the gym - she works out 3 hours, 3 times in the week. Just for her, i'm going along and working out aswell, you'd think she'd take that into account... lol
