I'm so bored...

There are no good games coming out for the PS3 (my main console) for ages! Warhawk is starting to get tiring and repetitive and I find no interest in any of my other games. I have to wait ages for MGS4, Killzone 2, GTA4, Battlefield: Bad Company, LittleBig Planet and more. I keep playing COD4's missions on Slo-Mo with Infinite Ammo and Cluster Bombs, which i admit is fun , but I need fresh gaming material or I may go back to my Xbox 360

Until next time...

Xbox 360 vs PS3 vs Wii

To be honest, the Wii is down and out already. It is more of a novelty than a proper gaming system. So its Xbox v Playstation for the final showdown....

This is my gaming setup (pre-Wii)

This shows I am totally equal with both systems. The squabbling over which system is better is pointless. There are too many good things about each system to openly decide which one is better. But the PS3 does have two advantages: Blu-Ray and Home. Both these may tip the balance towards Sony. That, and the fact that Xbox live = £££ - PSN = Free! And doesn't it seem wierd that the PS2 came out before the Xbox, but the Xbox 360 came out before the PS3? Hmmmm :?

Whatever your views, buy a PS3. At least it won't break down all the time . ;)

Modernising games...

Three days ago I bought DMC4 from HMV. Today I took it back. I'm not saying it's a bad game, its just...well...its too modern for me. This may sound stupid but it was the same for the old SSX games for PS2. I bought the first one and then the second, SSX Tricky (superb games BTW ;) ), and thoroughly enjoyed both of them. Then, about a year later, I bought SSX 3. I hated it . It was too...well I don't know what it was, I just didn't like it. That is what I found with Devil May Cry 4. I found I preferred the first game to this one. The scene where you are being chased down the hallway by the lava-scorpion thing (I forget whether it had a name or not:P) was stuck in my head, and no manner of killing women in giant plant/snake things will make me like DMC4 better.

Turok...grrrr

All right, get this. Turok is hard anyway, but the at the very end of the game you:

***SPOILERS***

First have to destroy a gunship that took me no less then twelve attempts, then you have a knife battle with the main boss Kane, and then, you have kill a T-Rex. Propaganda Games, listen up. I may have written a glowing review of your game recently, but that was before I reached the last level. You made this game to god damn ****ing hard! I can't complete it on the easiest difficulty! Most shooters, I die about...ooohh...12 times throughout the whole game. I died more times than that on the third level of Turok. **** this game! Most games I always complete, but this time, I don't whether I want to go through the hassle and god damn frustration of this impossible game. **** you Propaganda games. Never, ever, make a Turok again.

Old Skool :P

If you see my Now Playing list, you can see i'm reliving some of the old classics. I simply cannot believe they were considered 'on the cutting edge of technology' back in the day . Compare them with the modern day stunners, a.k.a TES IV: Oblivion, Unreal Tounament and Warhawk, they seem like childs play.:?
