I think the last time I had as much fun with more than just myself playing an RPG was Secret of Mana with the MultiTap back in the day. The multiplayer in FF:CC was the icing on the cake of an already solid, fun game.

I would've payed more for this game. I remember when Final Fantasy III (VI) came out for SNES and it had an $80 price tag on it.

This game was basically bashed in all the reviews I've read, after making a game like Chrono Trigger you'd really have to reshape the genre to come out with something better. Either way, this game has all the appeal of the classic RPG.

They're both really good in their respective genres. You reall can't compare these two, being so completely different.

I've read that one of the downloadables for the japanese versions is a New Game + feature.

If this actually became available for the U.S. version I would like the game a whole lot more, especially for some of the achievements.

It's got really good play mechanics, characters are pretty much fully customizable.

Story doesn't really grab you in the beginning...
