@tom_cat_01: well it depends on their age of course, but yeah if you got a 13- or 14-year old kid and he/she wants to see the movie it's definitely a good idea to go see these movies together with him/her and then talk about it afterwards as opposed to let him see it alone online. Deadpool might be a bit too much with those sexual references and him cutting his hand off, but 16+-movies, like avengers? yeah definitely.
@aiat_gamer: the comment that you call fanboyism didn't even mention any specific game and simply stated that an 8 means a game is really good and that the score of an 8 alone does not mean it's not worth a sequel.
now you are right that there are no further plans for a sequel after ds3, but you based that solely on the fact that this game got an 8. so in your world getting an 8/10 is a bad score. that is why he asked wether you're brain dead, which of course isn't a nice approach, but quite legit.
@Rushaoz: man, sounds painful, i hope you dick is better now :) 23 hours means pretty much rushing through the unknown game and not participating in either coop or pvp. He probably did fight enemies the 1st times but ignored them after dying and ran past them to the boss.
@Xristophoros: i hope you come to love ds3, but even though it will be a bit faster it will be nowhere near as fast as bloodborne and it shouldn't be. Dark souls is about realistic movement, which offers a good balance in the game. Of course you can level up your strength to wield stupidly large weapons, but other than that it's really pretty much like we humans move (albeit the agile kind, i couldn't roll ten times in a row, but i could certainly train to do it). The dashing move or popping of bloodvials made for faster combat, which was exciting, but it also totally destroyed the pvp. pvp in bloodborne was really really bad, in fact i think i've not ever seen a good pvp match in bloodborne. either you have an endless fight where players that get hit dash into safety and heal themselves in a fraction of a second, you get 1-shotted by a charged attack or people are ganking. I'm really excited to get back to the slower, more realistic combat of dark souls. After all that is the dream: to face all those challenges as a (relatively) normal human being, and not a superhero with special powers.
@RicanV: me too. my 1st playthrough of ds2 took me about 100 hours and i've played all souls games before. of course a huge part of this was helping other players. no matter how long my 1st playthrough will last i will most certainly not even discover half the secrets the game has to offer. i would actually be offended/disappointed if that was the case.
