DOnt clean your game disk or it will be permanently damaged!!!, get your self a DVD lens cleaner its a disk with brushes on it and use it to clean the Disk drive of your 360. BUy a good quality lens cleaner. Clean your drive once for next 3-4 days and done over do it. That will sort your problem.

What are you saying Gears1 looked good but the levels were small with less enemy in Gears 2 levels are huge and there are a lot of enemies and action going on screen. Also Gears 2 looks great see the Gameplay movie 5 in gamespot it looks like CGI with huge Draw distance and still extremly good looking graphics.

For sure Gears 2 l;ooks better than REsistance 2 no doubt abt this one.

USe VGA cable directly and not HDTV tuner card, because they have a lot of problems your might be that you have not selected the correct display format you will have to search it in the menu of Card vbiewer also now most monitors comes with Component inlet and HDMI use them to directly connect to 360 thats the best way.
