Less obvious but incredibly beautiful: Pirates of caribbean and age of pirates

Yeah homeworld for true 3D maps.

RTS like Supreme commander and others alike are like 2.5D.

Vertically they just have discrete planes.

 Homeworld2 is really great game, the singleplayer campaign is just superb.
