Sunday begins a new week and I would like to officially state this had to be one of the best weeks I have ever had. Ill give a summary of what I did each day, Sunday-Today.

Sunday: The day which began this wondrous week. I had a 6 hour shift at work but after that I went over to my girlfriends and had a good time with her. We played a couple of games, one of which was Apples to Apples. I won as to be expected in this perfect week. Around 10 I left and returned to my own home. I had no homework since we had a snow day on Friday. I spent the rest of the night relaxing and watching recordings of the football games that had been played earlier during the day. After a little while of lifting I washed up and went to bed.

Monday: School came and went, even got a project, which I hadn’t begun, moved back for a couple of days. After school I had work till 8. Work was the usual and overall nothing happened of interest. I came home and did a little bit of homework and then decided it was time to put my newly bought electric shaver to the test. A little while later I looked a couple years younger and to my surprise, a little better than I thought. After applying a million creams to my face to stop all the burning due to the fact this was my first shave in months, I went to bed.

Tuesday: Another school day went by and I arrived home to find I had nothing to do. Sure I could play some video games but after spending some much time with my girlfriend the last couple of days I couldn’t really get into the mood to do so. I sat down to watch some TV but before long I had nodded off. I awoke to a text message and decided I should probably do that project that was due in the morning. Two hours later I was done and off to bed I went.

Wednesday: What I thought may have been the best day ever might have been surpassed by today but I still have to consider the pros of each day and weigh them against each other. I will determine a winner soon. Just check a prior message to hear about this day...

Thursday: I awoke this day to find myself so damn tired. School was pretty slow but soon it was over and I was free. Today was payday so I went and picked up my check. Only a little over a hundred but I wasn’t disappointed. She drove me home but I really didn’t want her to leave and we ended up sitting in her car in my driveway for more than 3 hours just talking about where the relationship was headed and just cuddling. Her father called and she left to go home. I went to my room and wrote up my shopping list and decided on what I was getting everyone. After I played The Movies a bit and called a couple other friends to find out what everyone was doing Friday night. It started getting late so I finally went to bed.

Friday: Woke up and turned on the TV, a minute later I was back in bed. School had been cancelled due to snow, the second Friday in the past two weeks. I was happy until I realized I would get to see my girlfriend due to her parents being pretty protective of her and wouldn’t want her leaving the house. At around 1 I received a call that I better be ready cause her father had said to come get me and bring me over to their house. I scrambled into the shower and got ready. A couple hours later I was home and in a pretty good mood. Today had been a pretty good day.

Saturday: Last day of this super week. I went to work at 9 and got out around 4. As a joke I went over to her as I left with a single can of whip cream and had her ring it through. All she did was smile and asked what I planned to do with it. I just smiled and asked what she was doing after work. She said nothing and if you could, she would come over after she got out. About 6 she was at my house and all I’m going to say is much of that can was used. Yummy...

So guys, how was your week?

I knew this was going to be a great day about a week ago when I heard we had a half-day at school. I knew it would be even better when my girlfriend was allowed to come over. It only got better when we got to my house and three hours later it was just her and I in my room. Im not going to fill in anymore details, use your imaginations. All in all, this might have been the best day of my life.

With the Holidays coming up I have been spending a lot of money and getting a lot of gifts for others, but I have a problem, Im not sure what to get my girlfriend. Now I was wandering if anyone had some really "sweet" ideas for gifts. If you do, leave a comment. Thanks guys.

In a related field, I shaved! Ok, so it doesnt have to do with anything but I had to mention it. My girlfriened had mentioned when I first met her that she had made her ex shave before he even got to kiss her. Though that wasn't a issue with me, I decided I would do it for her. So I went out and bought an electric shaver, a Braun Activator, and shaved it all off. Why do I care? I hadn't shaved in over 7 months and I had grown used to trimming it and the whole look. With it gone, some people didn't even recognize me. Oh well, Im done complaining for tonight. Later.

So much for school in the morning. It snowed all day. We got about a foot of snow and school was cancelled. That meant a day of gaming.

I woke up around 10 pm to my girlfriend sending me a message. I looked outside and smiled, it had snowed and she had said she would be coming over if we had no school. A couple minutes later I learn her dad had to use her car since his just wasn't up for the snow. So looks like Ill be home for the day, time to get out the controller and start this gaming marathon. First game for the day, Perfect Dark Zero. A little while later and Im in the mood to get back into Dragon Quest. After about an hour of that I get another message asking if I want to come over, her sisters boyfriend would pick me up. I throw my ass in the shower for less than 3 minutes, throw on some clothes and brush my teeth. A little while later, turns out her mom really doesnt want anyone coming over in such bad weather. At this point Im a little depressed. I really wanted to see her, she left me last night wanting so much more. Then I see my XBOX 360 and decided a couple of games of Quake 4 would cheer me up. It was fun but still I longed for her. I decided it was time to eat so I went and had some lunch and jumped back into Dragon Quest. Hours went by and then I recieved another message, thus ending my gaming session for today. I spent the next couple hours talking to her and just listening to music. I miss her so much...

Anyways, I think I put a slight dent in Dragon Quest and I look forward to more in the next couple days. Later guys.

I know its been awhile but my life has got quite complicated. First off, I switched over to 1UP as they have a lot more extra features compared to here but overall its the same thing and I ended up leaving that as well.

I dropped out of gaming as my job began to consume more and more of my time. A couple months passed and work just kept getting in the way of things I wanted to do, but then something amazing happened, I met the greatest girl in my life. She worked at the same store as me and I had never really noticed her, truth be I was interested in several other girls but had never really noticed her. I’m not the guy who usually makes the first move since I never had to before. I tend to attract a lot of attention due to my often eccentric personality, when actually I’m a very shy guy. She really invested time into getting herself noticed by me and I soon realized just how great this girl was. Everything I wanted and more. Even still I couldn’t ask her to go out with me because I couldn’t stop of thinking of this other girl. Days turned to weeks, and before I knew it I was back in school and got a lucky break. She was in my study at the start of the day and I got to see her and talk to her more. A month elapsed and I still hadn’t asked her out, though most thought we were a couple, including her own parents, with all the time we spent together. Two months later and still hadn’t asked her out, though we were closer than ever. I misjudged and assumed she knew my interests and the way we had been acting together warranted the act of not having to ask her out. On a trip to Canada to see my father I spent most of the ride text messaging her and that is when I realized she wasn’t sure what was going on between us and to just agree we were going out. I agreed of course, knowing full well I really liked this girl. I got back the same night after a horrible trip. All I wanted was to see her. The following day I did and I felt so much better. I couldn’t believe how much I missed this girl. Monday came and so did school. While at lunch, a friend of hers asked how long we had been going out, not knowing all this time we had been together we weren’t truly together. I answered quickly two days, knowing well that was the official count in days and knowing everyone had assumed much longer since we had been seen together since school had started two months ago. She gave me a ride home after school and I finally decided it was time to ask her out and tell her how I thought. I opened up to her and I really don’t regret it. Since then it has been nothing but good times. The other day I noticed that I might be falling in love with this girl. I cant get her out of my mind and she is all I can think of. I just want her to always be with me and I would give anything to make that possible.

Ok, got that off my chest. Gaming wise, stood in line in the rain and got an XBOX 360. So far, I’m not impressed but that because Oblivion was delayed, the game I was most looking forward to. I’m upgrading my bedroom in the next month or so with new everything. I’m trading in my single bed for a full size, adding a dresser, nightstand, and media stand. Also adding a HDTV between 30-36 inches of widescreen glory as well as a surround sound system. I cant wait. Well its late, I got school in the morning. Later guys.

I have seen plenty of people on the forum doing this. I have made signatures, avatars, banners, splashes, ect for well over a hundred people and now Im opening myself up for requests for the good members of the GameSpot forum. All I ask is that you give me a few details on what you want. Here are a few things you should include when making a request.

- Dimensions: The size of the image

- Stock Image: If your not going to provide a stock image to work with please at least tell me what you would like. Im talking about the main image or theme. So if you want a signature based on FinalFantasy X please tell me that

- Color Scheme: You may not want one but color can often set an atmosphere like the signature I did for myself below. By using dark colors I create the feeling of despair.



- Extra Details: If you want something specific give me all the details. Usually those listed above will give me enough to to make you a graphic that you will be pleased with.

Notes: If you want to ever ask me questions about what I believe the dimensions should be for a Journal Banner Ill answer it ASAP. Also please, if you arent satisfied with the graphic dont complain and go to another person, tell me what you dislike and Ill fix it quickly.

Well...I hope the requests start to pour in, Im itching to try a few new things out.

Well I have been learning how to do those hot new video graphics everyone is talking about. I have only done two thus far but I plan to do many more. These are the two I have done so far.



= This one I did for myself just to test out how the whole thing works. I believe it came out pretty good



= This is one I did for J-Freak because he had asked for a new Halo signature. It is the signature he uses currently and Im happy to have provided another signature for someone else

If you dont mind, please take a moment and rate the two on a scale of 0-10. 0 being the lowest and 10 being the highest.

Its been awhile since my last entry so I thought I would give you all a quick update on everything. First off my website will be done in two weeks, Im just finding a host, the layout is done. The website name is changing from GamingPower to Caliber .08 as a tribute to an old site of mine dedicated to the anime Trigun. I hope everyone will like the layout and website and visit it often. There will be a forum much like the one on this site except it will be more of a communtiy and less of a random message board.

Im looking for staff for the website too so if you believe you could fill the any of the following positions, send me an email at rayban988@gmail.com. The open positions are:

- Graphic Designer: The main job of this person will help with future layout, banners,ect. This person may also help creating tutorials and designing free graphics for others to download.

- Anime Information Adder: Well, the name will be better than that hopefully but your main job will be to add information about anime, give anime reviews, and offer opinions.

- Gaming Information Adder: Much like the job above, just instead of anime, gaming will be your main concern. You will be given the suties of giving reviews, hints and cheats, ect.

If you dont fall into any of those catagories but think you can help in another way of think I left an important position out, please also send me an email. Each email should list why you should be a staff member.

Also, please before you do any of the emailing, ask yourself if you have the time, being a staff member may be time draining. Also check if you have any prior experience with websites.

I know some of you guys were mumbling "Another journal entry about him posting his review, Ill believe it when I see it". I finally found some time to review KOTOR II. I gave the game 9.0, though I feel it may have deserved just a tad higher. I hope all of you enjoy it and make me a "Trusted Reviewer".



In other news, I did receive a decent amount of gifts this year, all of which I was very pleased to get. One of my favorites was a Pool Table, but that isn’t the only thing I got.

In my last entry, I promised a list of programs to keep your computer running smoothly. Keep in mind, some of these aren’t free, but there are always free alternatives.

1. Norton AntiVirus: We all know why we need this. Today the internet is a "dangerous" place, so you should always have some type of virus scanning software and this is a personal favorite.

2. Webroot Spy Sweeper: The best spyware and adware remover available. This one isn’t free but you always need a program like this. I suggest SpyBot: Search and Destroy combined with AdAware if you don’t want to pay for anything.

3. System Mechanic: This program has a ton of great features which will keep your computer running smooth.

4. WinASO Registry Optimizer: Believe it or not, a lot of computer programs start because something is wrong with the registry and this little program makes sure everything is correct so no problems will occur.

5. Ashampoo PowerUp XP: This program allows you to tweak hidden settings in XP to increase performance. It overall very user friendly and really works, unlike many other programs which claim the same thing.

That concludes my list, my next list will have the top ten "essentials" for your PC including Firefox, Trillian, and WinAmp.
