Definitely don't do the Rent-A-Center thing as the guy above me pointed out, you get ripped off for something that may not be new.  It would be better to save up over time and get it later in my opinion.

Actually, HS not having blood in it makes me interested in it a little more. Look at DMC3 ... you don't see a ton of blood there, yet all you do is kill stuff in that, and that was a great game.

As for God Of War, honestly it has so much blood (and nudity) in it that it just becomes cheesy after a while. I mean, sure things bleed when you cut them, but in GoW, they gush blood in ways that would make the blood spurts in anime seem conservative.

And as for the fact that a lack of blood takes from realism ... in a video game ... I don't think I even have to address that, it's ridiculous enough on its own.
