MGS4 ,biggest game on PS3 this year
Transformers on 360
Sorry Kojima but your game looks like pants next to every other game out there, MGS4 looks more like Rise of the robots on the SNES
AndI still think it loses to Rise of the robots.
Rise of the robots on the SNES has better graphics, and is probably a better game
Looks much better than MGS4 and it's about 20 years old.

TG Daily: What are your thoughts on the future of the PC as a gaming platform? Is scalability the future - we hear AMD talking about Spider and Nvidia is selling Triple SLI that will keep us upgrading over the next several years. Or did the industry lose its focus?
Sweeney: PC gaming is in a weird position right now. Now, 60% of PCs on the market don't have a workable graphics processor at all. All the Intel integrated graphics are still incapable of running any modern games. So you really have to buy a PC knowing that you're going to play games in order to avoid being stuck with integrated graphics. This is unfortunate, and this is one of main reasons behind the decline of the PC as a gaming platform. That really has endangered high-end PC game sales. In the past, if you bought a game, it would at least work. It might not have been a great experience, but it would always work.
TG Daily: Can that scenario change?
Sweeney: Yes, actually it might. If you look into the past, CPU makers are learning more and more how to take advantage of GPU-like architectures. Internally, they accept larger data and they have wider vector units: CPUs went from a single-threaded product to multiple cores. And who knows, we might find the way to get the software rendering back into fashion.
Then, every PC, even the lowest performing ones will have excellent CPUs. If we could get software rendering going again, that might be just the solution we all need. Intel's integrated graphics just don't work. I don't think they will ever work.
TG Daily: These are harsh words. It looks like Intel has a lot of things coming down the pipe.
Sweeney: They always say 'Oh, we know it has never worked before, but the next generation ..." It has always been the next generation. They go from one generation to the next one and to the next one. They're not faster now than they have been at any time in the past.
PC gaming am cry
Sweeney: Yes, that is huge difference. If we go back 10 years ago, the difference between the high end and the lowest end may have been a factor of 10. We could have scaled games between those two. For example, with the first version of Unreal, a resolution of 320x200 was good for software rendering and we were able to scale that up to 1024x768, if you had the GPU power. There is no way we can scale down a game down by a factor of 100, we would just have to design two completely different games. One for low-end and one for high-end.
That is actually happening on PCs: You have really low-end games with little hardware requirements, like Maple Story. That is a $100 million-a-year business. Kids are addicted to those games, they pay real money to buy [virtual] items within the game and the game.
TG Daily: Broken down, that means today's mainstream PCs aren't suitable for gaming?
Sweeney: Exactly. PCs are good for anything, just not games.

So there you have it hermits, your system is good for everything...except games
I should just add that I own a PS2, 360 and Wii and a PC, so I'm not actually a fanboy at all and probably have no business on system wars, but I wanted to post this as it's quite interesting.
I don't actually believe MS and 360 are number 1, but this is system wars so I had to make the topic title sound fanboyish...
to fit in.
360 has taken almost half of 'life-to-date' next-gen revenues, says firm; 17.7 million worldwide installed base confirmed.
Microsoft has staked its claim as the market leader in the console space with two bold claims this morning - not least that it has taken over 40 per cent of 'life-to-date' revenue across hardware, games and peripherals sales.
In addition, the firm has confirmed a whopping 17.7 million global installed base of the console - and set its sights on many more with today's price cut.
The platform holder has also released figures that indicate it has the highest software attach rate of any system, with over seven games sold per console.
The Xbox 360 was first released in November 2005 in North America. Nintendo's Wii followed in North and South America a year later - the same month in which Sony's PS3 was launched in Japan.
VP of Microsoft Interactive Entertainment Europe Chris Lewis told MCV:
"We had to reach and surpass key milestones [before we dropped 360's UK price]. We had to get to let a level of momentum that we've now achieved:
"We've taken 42 per cent revenue share of next gen-games market - including hardware, peripherals and software, as well as the stunning performance of Live.
"We're consistently attaching games at high level - we're now at north of seven games to every console. That's considerably more than our competitors and something we're immensely proud of.
"On top of that, we've worked our way to a 17.7 million units worldwide installed base - and Europe is a critical geography within that figure. The ability to continually drive cost through the console is what has allowed us to open up the price of the system now.

What now Sheep and cows... WHAT SAY YOU!!! 360 has half the console market and is market leader.
Europeans and Asians have terrible taste in just about everything so it's no surprise that PC gaming is big over there.butteater86
Dumbest post of forever.
I'll just add that I used to be a PC gamer back in the days of Diablo 2, Deus ex ect. But I didn't have the money to keep up with the upgrades needed so I just went out one day and bought a PS2 and never upgraded my PC since. I will buy a super duper PC once games like Starcraft 2 come out, or Diablo 3 (please do it Blizzard) but until then I'm happy to be a 360 and Wii gamer.PC gaming is great for certain types of games, and consoles are great at others such as games like DMC,Ninja Gaiden ect.
They can live happily side by side imo, there is no need to defend one to your dying breath, it's just silly.
