I never thought I would ever grow out of 3 things. Wrestling, Legos, and video games. As of late video games no longer seem worth playing to me. I'm 21 and I start college this fall. I think part of the reason is I have become a lot more smarter about games.
When I was younger, maybe 7 or 8 years ago I would just go to my local Video Magic store (the poor man's Blockbuster) and get random games. Now I know a lot better, I know movie games usually suck, I know most games should have a good single AND multiplayer experience except games made by Bethesda usually.
I guess it is that knowledge that has spoiled the experience for me. Also I have falled into the rewards system on the PS3 and 360. Sadly it does factor into what games I play. I don't find myself having fun with a lot of games anymore. The only two games I really enjoyed were Halo 3 multiplayer, Bad Company, Uncharted and Dead Space. Everything else just seems boring. GTA IV had no replay value neither did Mirror's Edge.
I'm starting to sound like a cry baby but this is just some thoughts, not a real blog.
