So I have recently purchased Tomb Raider and I have to say I really enjoyed it, Now I have never played any of the previous games so I do not think myself as a Raider Nut. This game really delivered on my most basic searching and looting instincts when it comes to games, I loved that this game let me roam and search and reward me for doing so by finding that tiny item or that random totem hanging in the tree. Some of the best times I had was when I was looking for that last item to complete the particular challenge that I was working I finding out that it was sitting in plain sight the hole time The combat in the game seemed relatively easy....is that normal? I found toying with the melee enemies by constantly side stepping them and giving them a shot in the bum, or the crazy pyro guys by shooting the Molotov out of their hand and listening to him scream in pain as the fire bomb that was intended for me is now burning him up and the same goes for those guys that throw the dynamite. I found myself using the bow and arrow more then the actual fire arms it felt more challenging for me to use this weapon because it was such a unique weapon in the game, and when I upgraded it that compound bow was awesome. The story line in this game to me was great! Just for the fact that it played off my love to Japan and the anime that comes out of it and every thing else that I like about the Japanese culture, The Oni that stalked to dark shadows and all of the ancient building scattered through out the island was great and I think well designed and executed. All around I really enjoyed this game and plain on playing it through again.
